Taste experiences and local food – the Healthy Food Fair 2025 is waiting for you!

The Healthy Food Fair is a celebration of Finnish food! We will celebrate Finnish food and food producers all weekend long on April 5-6.4.2025, XNUMX at the Messunaveta of Herran Farm in Koivuniemi. In addition to diverse domestic food producers, there will also be a food-themed program, such as the very popular chef wars and cooking demonstrations.

Grains and grain products – the foundation of Finnish food culture

The theme of the fair this spring is cereals and cereal products, which are visible both in the producers' products and in the stage program. Cereals are an essential part of Finnish food culture, and at the fair you can get to know many domestic cereals, such as Korvalaasen black oats. Black oats are a special domestic cereal species, known for their dark color and nutritious composition. Cereals offer a wealth of taste experiences in baking, porridges and many other traditional Finnish dishes. In addition, products made from cereals, such as breads, porridges, pastas and pastries, highlight the valuable work of domestic agriculture and the responsibility of the food chain.

A fair for all food lovers – support and be inspired!

The Healthy Food Fair, as its name suggests, celebrates Finnish food and its producers. The name of the event also reflects Finnish, clean and ethically produced food. The overarching theme is the idea that Finnish food is made in Finland.

There are many kinds of food – it is not only about nutrition and well-being, but also about enjoyment and experiences. Healthy food can mean fresh vegetables, quality meat, caught fish or hand-baked bread. But also sweet treats, artisan sweets and domestic pastries are part of Finnish food culture – made from high-quality ingredients, they are full of flavour and joy!

The Healthy Food Fair is for everyone who wants to enjoy Finnish food and support its creators. Whether you are a home cook who appreciates authentic flavors or a professional looking for new partners, you will find inspiration, new taste experiences and interesting encounters at the fair. At the same time, we ensure that Finland can produce its own food in the future.

The Healthy Food Fair is organized by MTKMerikarvia of the association, Merikarviaof the municipality, MerikarviaIn collaboration with the upper secondary school and Koivuniemi Herran Farm.

Come join us in celebrating Finnish food in all its forms – now and in the future!
