Strategies
According to the Local Government Act, every municipality must have a municipal strategy, in which the council decides on the long-term goals of the municipality's operations and finances.
The municipal strategy must take into account:
- promoting the well-being of the municipality's residents
- organizing and producing services
- service objectives stipulated in the laws concerning municipal duties
- ownership policy
- personnel policy
- opportunities for municipal residents to participate and influence
- development of the living environment and the vitality of the region
In addition to the municipal strategy, our operations are guided by an economic policy program and a well-being report.
