Youth services:
The multi-professional activities of the Youth Reception are intended for young people aged 13–22 in the Pori cooperation area who have psychosocial problems, for example various crisis situations, difficulties related to mood, interpersonal relationships or substance use, and neuropsychiatric characteristics. For schoolchildren and students, an appointment should first be booked with the student care department, where an assessment of the situation will be made and, if necessary, a referral to the Youth Reception. Those without a study place can book an appointment directly with the Youth Reception.

Adult services:
The multidisciplinary activities of the adult reception are intended for adults over the age of 23. The activities of the adult reception respond to short-term care and support needs, for example in life crises or other problematic situations, interpersonal problems, and problems related to mental health or substance use. Its goal is to support the improvement of clients' functional capacity and increase clients' capabilities to solve their own problems.
You can get to the reception either by contacting us by phone or by arriving at the reception without an appointment. You can also get an appointment with a referral from a social or healthcare professional.
