Procurements

MerikarviaThe municipality, like all municipalities, joint municipal authorities and municipal procurement units, must comply with the Public Procurement Act in its procurements.

Small procurements refer to procurements of goods and services below the national threshold. These are not covered by the Procurement Act, but the procurements must comply with the principles of fairness and must also be competitively priced.

The procurement threshold refers to the highest possible estimated value of an individual procurement. The estimated value also determines whether the procurement is subject to a national procedure or an EU procedure. Changes to the Procurement Act usually also affect the thresholds. EU thresholds change every two years. The current thresholds can be found at from the hankinnat.fi website.

Procurements exceeding the national threshold can be found From the HILMA channel.
