Upper school student welfare

The upper secondary school has its own communal a student welfare team, which includes the principal, school nurse, curator, special needs teachers and study counselor as permanent members, and two teachers from our school who rotate annually as other members. Other members are also invited to participate on a case-by-case basis. The guardian and the student themselves are also invited to discuss the student's issues.

We aim for the principle of early intervention, which is based on the idea that children and young people's problems are addressed as soon as they are detected. If the problem is so big that the group itself cannot help, the young person and their guardian are not left alone, but the group helps them access expert treatment.
