The new event is literally kicked off when ReCycling Merikarvia will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 10 am to 4 pm Merikarviaa. The name of the event already tells the idea of the event, as the event is about cycling along our new cycling routes to different destinations where goods are put to circulation. Now you can open your own pop up café or yard sale and give locals and tourists a memorable experience by offering your own program spot at our event.
The event will publish cycling routes that run between six companies, but you can register for the event even if you don't fall directly along the route. From this link you will see cycling routes and the participating flea markets, cafes and businesses will be added to the same map. The purpose of the event is to get people to enjoy cycling right from spring and at the same time make Merikarviaa familiar.
Open your dream yard sale or pop-up restaurant for one day now and add it to our event map. Here are some ideas for organizing an event spot:
- Pancake cafe Merikarviato the riverside shelter
- Flea market for your yard or outbuilding
- Your company's open doors and even a special program for the event day
- Program point for children in your own yard, playground, etc. area
- Presentation of the association's activities
Come up with an attractive name and content for your destination that will inspire cyclists to stop by. Your opening hours can be shorter or longer during the day than the event time. The names, addresses, content and opening hours of the destinations will be announced on a shared event map. Let's make this a new cycling and recycling event for the entire municipality!
