The repair work on the water network in the Eteläinen rantatie area, starting at the Pooskeri junction and continuing to the Pori border, has been completed.

When water distribution restarts, sediment is released from the network and air is released, causing the water to become cloudy and discolored, but the water will clear up if it is allowed to run.

There is no health risk from any discoloration in the water, but this should be taken into account, for example, when washing laundry.

MerikarviaThe municipal water utility is carrying out repairs to the water network. Due to the repairs, water supply will be interrupted in the Eteläinen rantatie area, starting at the Pooskeri junction and continuing to the Pori border.

The repair work will be carried out on Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
