Welcome Merikarvian An event organized by the Finnish Tourism Association and the Satakunta Rescue Department to stimulate ideas, identify risks in your own operations, and find concrete ways to strengthen safety. The trainer will be Teija Sukusaari, preparedness planner at the Satakunta Rescue Department. SAFE TOURISM AND SERVICE – Merikarvian The Finnish Travel Association will organize practical safety training courses for tourism and service sector operators in 2026–2027. The training courses identify risks in their own operations, develop everyday safety, and prepare and update necessary safety documents. The course will start in the fall of 2026 with training evenings that will discuss the importance of safety work, the responsibilities of operators, and safety walks as a practical tool. The longer training course, which will begin in March 2027, will delve deeper into risk assessment and safety documents. In guided work sessions, participants will develop the safety of their own company or business and receive support in preparing documents.
