Altti Mattila moved from Timmerheid to Stockholm 54 years ago. His brother Pekka worked in the printing industry, which attracted Altini to it.
The printing industry was the right choice and for almost 40 years the man has had a printing press at home, which he works with.

Mattila prints lithographic art at home on a sturdy printing press. The plates and works are completed as the artist chooses colors one at a time. He serially numbers and signs the prints he approves.

Galleria Vanhan Savu's summer 2024 exhibition will feature artworks by Petter Thoe, Harro Koskinen, Yrjö Edelman, Anders Hultman, Anders Palmer and several other artists.
