From the eternal May Day to Finlandia! ONEVIOLIN breaks the boundaries of musical styles and captivates its audience with the power of domestic and international hits as well as Finlandia.

Aiming for an international career. Pekka Niemi (born 1993) studied violin for four years at the prestigious London School of Music. Royal College of Music -top conservatory. He has also played in, among others, the Jean Sibelius Orchestra, which served as a training orchestra for young talented music enthusiasts in 2007–2016. After moving to Helsinki, he also began his studies at Sibelius Academy in the Arts Management education program.
Despite his young age, Niemi, as a skilled violinist, composer, arranger and producer, has collaborated extensively internationally and domestically with, among others, Roope Salminen, Juno and JVG.

From the music video to the Ruisrock stage! Pekka Niemi's conquest of Finland happened in a day. In the summer of 2019, he released a video of JVG's hit Frisbee, and within an hour, JVG posted the video on their Instagram account. The next day, Niemi found himself on stage at Ruisrock, alongside JVG.
Since then, Niemi has also performed at Flow, Weekend and Block festivals, among others. Talent Suomi brought ONEVIOLIN to the hearts of all Finns.
