The workshop is organized by the Nature Trails – Satakunta Nature Tourism Routes and Destinations Data Warehouse project, managed by the SAMK Tourism Development Center. The workshop is free of charge and coffee will be served at the event. Please bring your own computer.

What the heck is DataHub?

Maintained by Visit Finland data hub is a database where Finnish tourism companies can store information about their company and the products and services they offer. Through an open interface, company and product information can be retrieved from many different channels, such as Visit Finland's website, regional websites and commercial operators. DataHub is free to use for both tourism companies and data users.

More and more regional tourism organizations (visit organizations) and various websites will utilize DataHub to bring company information and product information to their own websites. Using DataHub is an investment in the future and also a way to maximize visibility, as it helps the company gain visibility in many different channels.
