MerikarviaThe municipality was selected as a pilot group for the Finnish Good Governance 2023, along with ten other municipalities. We have prepared a survey to compare the quality of local government with other European regional government units. This is the first time that the Council of Europe-approved good governance assessment process has been implemented in Finland.

The responses will help us develop our processes towards better and more open administration. The work is coordinated in Finland by the HAUS Development Center.
