Antti Ahlström (1827 – 1896) was a powerful man of his time who built his career with sawmills and ironworks, leaving behind one of the largest fortunes in Finland.
MerikarviaAhlström, who was born in 1850, hosted the Lankoski Mansion between 1850 and 1872.

Now you have a unique opportunity to take a peek inside this privately owned house built in the 1840s. In the same courtyard, there is also a vaulted cellar under the protection of the Finnish Antiquities Authority.

The current owners of the large house, Anne and Jukka Ruissalo, also renovated the Lankoski Mill, built in 1835, into a café.
