The expansion of the Tiiliruukki sorting station has begun.

The collection center has started expansion work on the Tiiliruukki sorting station building. The expansion will centralize the collection center's personnel from three locations to two, which will support smoother work and better service to customers. The project aims to achieve cost savings and improve operational efficiency. The main contractor for the building is MVR-Yhtymä.

Changes to traffic arrangements

The sorting station is serving customers as usual, but the construction work will affect the sorting station's traffic arrangements. The construction site area has been fenced off, and changes have been made to the driving routes. The new driving routes have been marked with arrows on the asphalt - we ask customers to follow the markings carefully. The extension of the office building will be completed in March 2026, after which the sorting station yard will be further improved.

Heavy traffic in the area

During the construction work, there will be more heavy equipment in the area than usual. “We ask customers to be especially careful in traffic, drive at moderate speeds and consider the safety of other customers and our employees. We will operate normally during the construction work, with the exception of a few days. We will inform customers of any changes and traffic arrangements as the work progresses via our website and social media,” says Tarja Räikkönen, Operations and Development Manager at Keräämö.
